I just opened my book this morning to a random page. The Root of the Tree on page 57 talks about the Law of Increase. I wrote this book, but still am amazed at the content because there is always something to remind me of ideas that help me in everyday living.

There was an influential man in my past that said “Walk in another’s shoes for a while so you can understand a different point of view.”

After giving that idea some considerable thought, I must be thankful. I must be grateful for everything. One would think that we always want more. Well the existence of the soul is to create. We are a forward moving universe and are not meant to be stagnant. However, we should give thanks for what we have.

“I give thanks for all that I have, give and receive. I give thanks for its increase. The gifts of the universe multiply with the thanks I give. Humbled by my rewards, my life is filled with expansive prosperity now.”

These thoughts are triggered by the fact that God is a giving God. We are always receiving His gifts whether we realize it or not. If this fact is true, than how can we possibly go a day without thanking Him for all that we have.

If you kept on giving, giving, giving and never received a simple “thank you”, how long would it take for discouragement to fill your heart. Yet, God just keeps on giving.

So, I conclude with an open heart to give thanks for all the wonderful opportunities, gifts and rewards, however big or small, that God is giving me today!

Start the day with the affirmation “I set the riches of God before me this day to guide, direct and prosper me in all my ways.” Before you map out your entire day, allow the goodness of God to fulfill you.

You are an answer to someone else’s prayer. Therefore, when you put God first, others who cross paths with you today and each day will be blessed as well!
