If you have a child, you have an opportunity right now to “get into its head” the truth. The truth is that we are born to be loved and loving and our physical bodies are the vehicles through which our souls travel, therefore, we are truly beautiful. The truth is that our God-given right to be prosperous already exists and is just waiting for our own conviction of its existence! The truth is that whatever we come to believe, through our environment and convictions, becomes our reality. If you think and believe, consciously and subconsciously, “I am prosperous”, you are. If you continually think and believe “I am beautiful in mind, body and spirit” and “I am intelligent, for Universal Guidance flows through me making perfect my way”, you are!
What if, as a child, you were not told such things? “Become as a child, think like a child”. What does that mean? Simply put, it means that if you were not told those encouraging things, there is still time to tell yourself them now, today and everyday for all of your life. Life, actually, begins today anyway. Begin each day by reminding yourself:
“Today, the wisdom of God flows through me. I am divinely guided all day. Success is mine because it is Universal Truth. It is my divine right to be loved and loving, prosperous and healthy in all ways. My being is magnetized with Universal Light as I attract wonderful experiences, gracious people and expansive prosperity to me now.
Excerpt from The Root of the Tree: “To forgive is no admittance, only an act of the most precious, selfless kind.
Ponder on This: I could search the world wide over and not find anything that feels as good as the security of believing in The Power Within!
Seeking Guidance: “I listen to the still small voice within me that guides me unerringly along the pathways of my life.
All Combined: A series of consistent efforts made towards a goal creates what appears to be the finished product. Remember that we are not finished when we think we are. When we feel that we are “at the top”, we are only beginning!
I just opened my book this morning to a random page. The Root of the Tree on page 57 talks about the Law of Increase. I wrote this book, but still am amazed at the content because there is always something to remind me of ideas that help me in everyday living.
There was an influential man in my past that said “Walk in another’s shoes for a while so you can understand a different point of view.”
After giving that idea some considerable thought, I must be thankful. I must be grateful for everything. One would think that we always want more. Well the existence of the soul is to create. We are a forward moving universe and are not meant to be stagnant. However, we should give thanks for what we have.
“I give thanks for all that I have, give and receive. I give thanks for its increase. The gifts of the universe multiply with the thanks I give. Humbled by my rewards, my life is filled with expansive prosperity now.”
These thoughts are triggered by the fact that God is a giving God. We are always receiving His gifts whether we realize it or not. If this fact is true, than how can we possibly go a day without thanking Him for all that we have.
If you kept on giving, giving, giving and never received a simple “thank you”, how long would it take for discouragement to fill your heart. Yet, God just keeps on giving.
So, I conclude with an open heart to give thanks for all the wonderful opportunities, gifts and rewards, however big or small, that God is giving me today!

Start the day with the affirmation “I set the riches of God before me this day to guide, direct and prosper me in all my ways.” Before you map out your entire day, allow the goodness of God to fulfill you.
You are an answer to someone else’s prayer. Therefore, when you put God first, others who cross paths with you today and each day will be blessed as well!
