Episode 114~The Waxing Way

Hello!

What an incredible start to the new school year! It’s been absolutely mad getting back into the swing go things but somehow when I get home to the North, all that energy I thought I’d lost finds its way to the surface…literally…as you’ll see! In this episode I experiment with some botanical printing and then utilize those prints in encaustic collage pieces. A great way to spend a Saturday in September in the sun. I have finished sweater and continue to dream about all the woolly possibilities to come. Thank you for supporting the project. I hope you find something of value here. Many blessings, Sarah

  1. The Wax Works are quite intensive, beautiful end result. Now, to the loom…haha, I finally got off the pot and put on a warp for towels, needed more for the weft and oh my, cottolin will be coming in 2-3 months from now. It will get done. Like the wool you are using for the Kiruna shawl. be well, don’t let school get you down!
