Well, yes, there is more ice…I so wish I had the footage of the eagles this time as I had a very close encounter but alas my cinematic skills were not up to par. I hope you’ve been enjoying all that your season has to offer. You’ll find in the vlog a mix of knitting, spinning and stitching. Hello & Happy New Year!

I’ve dabbled a bit more in editing and filmography. I am enjoying this piece of the process and I hope my amateur skills add a little extra zing.

In this episode be prepared for LOTS of bird footage. As the title implies, there is a lot of ice and eagles. I enjoyed gathering little vignettes of my time over the holidays. I wonder what the next couple of weeks will bring now that I am back in school. I’ve brought my camera down south to my parents to capture some time with the sheep and maybe even my riding lesson!

I’ve added some elements this time round as I get more familiar with editing on iMovie. I am by no means a cinematographer or film specialist, but I had some fun adding music and other segments. The initial part features a hike I take with Ruby regularly and some scenery from around our house in the woods. I share a few funny stories of bear adventures and reminisce a bit about my old dogs, Fern, Coe and Bella. There is, of course, knitting and stitching at the end. Hello all! How are you fairing this surreal time of Covid?  I can’t complain as my immediate situation includes my dog and my craft stash.  If I don’t look too far beyond my environs all is steady and manageable.  I hope you’re finding moments of steadiness and finding opportunities to take positive action in your community or with family.

This time round I had hoped to have two separate videos.  One to detail my stitching, quilting, and weaving and the other to discuss knitting with some details about my trip to Norway.  BUT… I am having internet issues and could not upload the knitting video in a timely fashion. I am still working on it with my friend Kevin at the internet company. With any luck I’ll be able to post about the knitting soon.

I also had a difficult time uploading in HD this time around so it might benefit you to watch on a smaller screen for crispness.  Agh, I was very frustrated by this!~  I hope you find something inspiring here.  In the meantime, be well and take heart.
