Hello! I hope you are well and moving through the world with ease. Something a little different this time as I gathered footage of many different crafts. I sneak in a some Maine life with a little peak into our family’s ice fishing and sugaring traditions. Fond wishes and thank you for tuning in!
I am just back to work after a long, February break. Yeeesh…re-entry is hard! I cobbled together some footage of a couple skis I took to share with you as well as some stitching. As you can infer from the title, there’s a lot of different crafts and this edition is a bit of a meander through that. I’ve done my best to highlight the major topics in the list below should you be interested in pursuing any products or patterns. Fond wishes to you!

Well, yes, there is more ice…I so wish I had the footage of the eagles this time as I had a very close encounter but alas my cinematic skills were not up to par. I hope you’ve been enjoying all that your season has to offer. You’ll find in the vlog a mix of knitting, spinning and stitching. I try to talk about the laws of thermodynamics and spinning but don’t worry no alternate dimensions are achieved;) I hope this finds you well and, as always, thank you from the bottom of my heart for tuning in!
I’ve dabbled a bit more in editing and filmography. I am enjoying this piece of the process and I hope my amateur skills add a little extra zing.
In this episode be prepared for LOTS of bird footage. As the title implies, there is a lot of ice and eagles. I enjoyed gathering little vignettes of my time over the holidays. I wonder what the next couple of weeks will bring now that I am back in school. I’ve brought my camera down south to my parents to capture some time with the sheep and maybe even my riding lesson!
I also awkwardly announce a Patreon page. You’ll see the link below the post if this is of interest to you. All the content remains free and charges will be on a per episode basis not to exceed two posts per month. Additional content will be posted here should I choose to add any additional episodes or enrichment. All the same, a heartfelt thank you for all support.
Again, I have included a little additional footage of what we’ve been up to in the North Woods. Many winter blessings to you and yours. Thank you for your support of this endeavor and I look forward to our time in 2021
Fond Wishes,
Sarah

I’ve added some elements this time round as I get more familiar with editing on iMovie. I am by no means a cinematographer or film specialist, but I had some fun adding music and other segments. The initial part features a hike I take with Ruby regularly and some scenery from around our house in the woods. I share a few funny stories of bear adventures and reminisce a bit about my old dogs, Fern, Coe and Bella. There is, of course, knitting and stitching at the end. I hope this finds you well and in good spirits. Thank you for your support of the vlog and all your comments and insights.
Fondly, Sarah

Robert Macfarlane and Jackie Morris- The Lost Spells, The Lost Words
Hello Friends, a quick check-in before the Thanksgiving holiday here in the States. My nephew loves his new tiny boat hats! He couldn’t wait so I’ve no finished hat to show you. In this episode I talk about knitting, embroidery and spinning. HO! HO! can you believe it? Thank you as always for tuning in. Wishing you health and peace. Fondly, Sarah
As you can probably tell I am still a little obsessed with The Lost Words by Robert MacFarlane and Jackie Morris. They recently published The Lost Spells and The Lost Words game. I share my experience with these two new pieces in the podcast. I also have some knitting and an idea for a new make-a-long. You’ll see a separate video highlighting my thoughts about start and end time, which correlate to the solstice and equinox. As always, I hope this finds you well and in good spirits.
Fondly,
Sarah

Welcome! As the title implies this episode travels outside the bounds of knitting. I share a little insight from the Weavers Oracle as a way to support my lackluster thought process these days. I hope that you are well and in good spirits wherever you are and as always thank you for tuning in.
Don’t be alarmed in this episode! Yes, that is still me avec le maquillage! There are a few tangents but mostly I include my current progress on knitting, stitching, quilting, card weaving and a little spinning. I have made a list below of items mentioned. I hope you are well and in good spirits!
