Just found your podcast and really enjoyed it! I love the idea of the color border with the brown, black, silver, etc – those colors really sing with the main shawl color. I think you can get away with slightly different weights on the border, but if one of those proves to be really too much heavier, I’d swap it out for a lighter weight of the same color – I’m a color first sort of gal, though.
