Wonderful content. Loved the fleece, just beautiful. Thank you for sharing
Hello, I just watched both your Vimeos and enjoyed them. I saw pics of you et al on Sofia’s Instagram and what a fine time you must have had. Sheep are what keeps me connected to the earth/world. Thank you.
I love that…Sheep are what connect me to the earth. Sorry, these comments escaped my attention for so long!
Hi Sarah! Wonderful to hear more about your trip and new sweaters! So glad you are well and staying put up in Maine with Ruby!
Always love to see an episode from you and now there are two this week! I far prefer the look of the garter hem and cuffs. Do you go down a needle size, as you often do with ribbing?
Hi Louise, these comments have somehow escaped my attention! I don’t change needles sizes for the cuffs…but probably because I didn’t consider it. It might be beneficial to tighten up that gauge.
Hi Sarah! It was nice to meet you in Orkanger. Thank you for being a part of my vlog from the Tea party. It is strange to hear about my own culture seen from a foreigners point of view. It makes me feel very lucky to live and knit in all this tradition and history. We have Gammalnorsk spælsau and we now have 11 lambs running around with their mothers on the field outside our farm. By the way, you sit in front of a Jøtul fireplace. That’s Norwegian! If you want to look back, this is my episode (the episode is a mix of Norwegian and English): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ubrZkP-ynVA&t=2482s
Digital hugs from Merete
Dear Merete, somehow these comments escaped my attention! Yes, it was wonderful to meet in Norway. Thank you for sharing your videos! I hope the lambs are all doing well and growing strong!
As usual, you leave me with ideas and objects to look up. Always inspired by you! – Rachel
Thank you 😉
Thank you for a lovely episode filled with special yarn and good thoughts.
How vs it – have a vague memory of it when I read Campbell’s book shortly after it came out eons ago. Will look back into it and thanks for the reminder. Patricia, I trust you are aware of Sue Spargo’s daily stitch class on IG? She is covering a new technique daily for 90 days and it has been super fun.
I’ve been missing you dear!
I’m so happy to be spending a little bit of time in your company.
Much love from France!
