Hello Friends,
I’ve added some elements this time round as I get more familiar with editing on iMovie. I am by no means a cinematographer or film specialist, but I had some fun adding music and other segments. The initial part features a hike I take with Ruby regularly and some scenery from around our house in the woods. I share a few funny stories of bear adventures and reminisce a bit about my old dogs, Fern, Coe and Bella. There is, of course, knitting and stitching at the end. I hope this finds you well and in good spirits. Thank you for your support of the vlog and all your comments and insights.
Fondly, Sarah

Lovely to see you again! The music at the beginning while you were speaking was too much, it would have been especially nice to hear just you and the outdoor sounds. I only mention it because you said you were playing with features. It was distracting and competed with your conversation. xo
I redid it and have since uploaded a new version, thanks for the input.
What a lovely way to start your wee film. You live in a heavenly looking spot. It was just what this city crone 😦 needed. I got the Lost Spells book for my beloved for his Solstice gift and can’t wait to hear it.
Dear Ann, I am glad the film appealed to your nature crone soul 😉 I am looking foward to hearing your reflection on the Lost Book of Spells!

I totally loved your nature piece, no problem with the music but do not know which version I heard! cannot believe you do not have any snow…we do in N ID. but it comes and goes, Be well, enjoy your knitting.
Hi Susan, as you can see I am catching up on comments here! Glad you enjoyed the little nature footage! Sarah
Loved this! Thanks! have chosen the raven as a lost words beastie for your kal. Not sure yet what to knit. Also what was the shawl you were wearing. It gorgeous!.
Dear Isabella, I think the Raven will end up being part of my project well. Such a powerful symbol worldwide, it will be nice to work with it. I don’t know the name of the shawl as my friend knit it for me. I will try and remember to ask her. Fond wishes for 2021! Sarah
Thank you for sharing your outdoors. It looks a lot like mine here outside Gothenburg, Sweden. But I think you live a bit south of me. We don´t have any snow yet but we do share a lot of the botanics and birds. I´ve recently started to follow your podcast and I´m so happy I did. Thank you for talking about The lost woords. The book arrived here a couple days ago an I love it (just look at the big bramble picture, so much to see). Thank you again! /Ulrika
Dear Ulrika, Yes, I think Sweden and Maine have much in common with lots of forests and lakes and similar arctic migrators. I am so glad you have got a copy of the Lost Words and are joining me over here at the vlog. Many fond wishes for the new year! Sarah
As always, it’s a wonderful time when I view your podcast. Thank you for your work.
Thank you Barbara, I appreciate you leaving your feedback. Many fond wishes for 2021
