Turning of the Year~1

Hello!  Phew..what a whirlwind this first week has been. It didn’t help I left my camera equipment South when I went North! Also, I’ve been tending to my mum after her knee surgery.  She is in good spirits and healing well.  I hope you enjoy this first glimpse into our December traditions.  I’ll see you soon!

  1. Dear ENABLER! I bought the Advent book and it is great, have made 4 things from it and all good. Made my candied citron (Buddhas hand) and orange peel. All fruits soaking for my Jamaican Black Fruit (Christmas) cake…NO ‘poison bird berries’ AKA Maraschino cherries!
Thanks for the tip on Chemery patterns. Nice. am about to start on some socks from Drover yarn from TWT.
    be well and thank you.

  2. Dear Sarah,
As one wrote in the YouTube comments I would really appreciate if you could share with us what pattern you used for the toadstool hat you are wearing in the beginning of the episode.
Thank you so much for your wonderful (fiber) art you are showing.
    God jul from Sweden, Barbara
