A Retreat, Making My Own Watercolors & Knitting

Hello All,

I found myself a bit caught up in work this past week and my filming and editing schedule didn’t align. It’s been a rigorous fall for me at work and I’ve been devoting a vast amount of creative capital to those tasks. But I’m still feeling inspired and am especially excited about the festivities associated with our families Christmas celebrations.

In this episode I highlight the retreat I recently took with my friend Emily, who you may know as Fibretown (she use to have a great spinning and knitting podcast) and Jessie who is Sara Bauer’s younger sister, an amazing maker and baker! We spent four days together in Vermont not only crafting, knitting and enjoying good food but also honoring the connection we all had to Sara of Yarns at Yin Hoo. It was a soulful time for certes.

If you’d like to support my creative project you can find me on: Patreon or Ko-Fi

Or you can shop the Woolly Thistle through my affiliate link

Financial support helps to offset administrative, travel, and equipment costs associated with production as well as time dedicated to editing, filming and creating.Thank you for your support

As always thank you for your support and encouragement. Many fond wishes, Sarah

  1. Glad you went on the retreat, very fulfilling for the soul! Paint making, have never even thought of that. Ink making certainly but paint? Very intriguing. I have the Turquaz Kitchen and will be making the spinach-mushroom deep dish quiche this week and will definitely take a look at that Bee Sting Cake 😋
    be well.
