I can’t believe it’s almost June. I enjoyed a bit of time in the beginning of the month to recharge my practice and spend some time on my knitting. I so appreciated having a little extra time to edit this week after being pummeled by an early spring snow storm. At our house in the North we got almost 26″ of snow. So much snow that it was up to my hips in some places. It was astounding and beautiful but required a significant amount of digging out. 

But you’re here for the crafting adventures ;). On this edition I resurrect an old project, explore a new book and endeavor to become even more of a hobbit. The studio vlog will be published this weekend so if you can take it…you’ll get a double dose of me this week.

It’s a leap year which I’m thankful for as I rallied to pull together this fun footage from my vacation.  I’m hopefully off to the cabin this forthcoming weekend but we’ll see how the weather holds and the snowpack for snowmobiling.

Hi! Hi! 

I feel like my life has a little Where’s Waldo overtones to it these days :).  In this episode, I cut a new quilt out. Wild abandon may be to a strong a sentiment to describe the process but I did cast a bunch of projects to the side to get on with it.  I also wild abandon it up with my knitting dreams seeing as I finished Maddie’s sweater and the sleeve of another.  I’m getting ready for a long winter’s nap of a vacation..well kinda..my brother’s family is joining us for part of it but I can already feel my commuting cares slip away and I welcome the respite.
