Episode 86: Lost Words

Hey Friends,

As you can probably tell I am still a little obsessed with The Lost Words by Robert MacFarlane and Jackie Morris. They recently published The Lost Spells and The Lost Words game. I share my experience with these two new pieces in the podcast. I also have some knitting and an idea for a new make-a-long. You’ll see a separate video highlighting my thoughts about start and end time, which correlate to the solstice and equinox. As always, I hope this finds you well and in good spirits.

Fondly,

Sarah

  2. Hello,I am looking for a celtic or viking shawl pin for a gift. I remember in a video about the shield maiden scarf you knitted you mentioned a pin you had bought. I tried looking for it on YouTube and even typed sheild maiden in but am having trouble finding the video. Would you be able to send me the information on where you purchased your pin? Thank you, LoriSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy Tablet

  3. Wonderful timing to hear the loon as you read from The Lost Spells.
The blue main color of the yoke is a favorite. I bought some Starcroft Lamb in similar colo at Rhinebeck last year.
